教育學分支
教育學的分支，不同的學校可能有不同的分法，我們以賓夕法尼亞大學和哈佛大學為例來做分析，申請者可以選擇自己感興趣的分支及方向，首先賓夕法尼亞大學教育學院有如下八大分支：

從這兩個學校的專業設置來看，有共通之處也有些許差別，推而廣之，每個學校教育學的專業設置雖然不盡相同，例如哥倫比亞大學的專業設置就相當豐富(詳見教育學章節后附的哥倫比亞大學教育學專業分支清單)，但是卻有很大的相通之處，總體來說，從大的方面來分類，我們可以將教育學主要分為以下三個大方面：
