Listen to the tape then answer this question.At what time of year did Ken visit Paris?

George: Have you just been to the cinema?

Ken: Yes, I have.

Ken: “Paris in the Spring”.

George: Oh, I’ve already seen it.I saw it on television last year. It’s an old film, but it’s very good.

Ken: Paris is a beautiful city.

George: I have never been there. Have you ever been there, Ken?

這是省略句。完整的.句子為Paris was just like London。其中的just有“正好”“恰恰是”的意思。而在第3行的Have you just been to…中just是指時間，有’‘剛才’的意思。

never表示“從無”、“從未”，在這里有強調之意。
2 Have you ever been there , Ken?肯，你去過媽?
ever常用于否定句、疑問句以及表示條件的從句中表示“以往任何時候”、“曾經”、“在任何時候”、“從來”這類意思。用在此句中也有強調之意。
語法Grammar in use
have been與have gone
have been to a place表示曾經去過某地，但現在不在那個地方了;have gone to a place表示已經去某地了，現在在那個地方或正在去的路上。如:
George has been to Paris.
喬治去過巴黎。(他現在不在巴黎。)
George has gone to Paris.
喬治去巴黎了。(他在巴黎或去巴黎的路上。)
Have you ever been to America ?
你去過美國嗎?(對方不在美國境內。)
Has he gone to Washington D.C.?
他去華盛頓了嗎?(被提到的人有可能現在美國境內或在赴美途中。)
